Active St Albans are offering a First Aid Course for all St Albans District Clubs/Coaches. As Active St Albans are subsidising some of the cost we are asking only 2 people from each club to book onto a course.

Harpenden Leisure Centre, in conjunction with Wheathampstead Archery Club are holding FREE adult (18+) indoor Archery taster sessions.
Each taster session will last for 2 hours and is completely FREE
Sunday 29th January: 1pm-3pm
Sunday 19th February: 1pm-3pm
Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis, one session per person.

 | Sportivate Year 2 Funding Applications Open! in Club and Community Sport. Active St Albans are pleased to announce that we have again secured £9,000 from the Herts Sports Partnership to run a series of Sportivate projects across the district during April 2012 – March 2013.
Sportivate is a nationwide campaign and part of the Play strand of Sport England’s London 2012 mass participation legacy programme ‘Places People Play’. The overall aim of Sportivate is for participants aged 14-25 years to complete weekly coaching sessions and then continuing to play sport regularly after the sessions.
